Started the day welcoming kids into school.

Started the day at Edgar Road.  I went there to get an overview of the calendar and start the week off with a plan of what will happen throughout this week.

I then headed over to Central Office.  I met with the HR director to go over iObservation and discuss reports used to improve the teacher observation process.

Started the day with a faculty meeting where we were updated from the Superintendent about committee work and future of the district.

Met with a 3rd grade teacher to finish iObservation.

Welcomed kiddos in the morning at the circle drive.

Followed up on HelpCounter with School Secretary.

Completed 7 "Reading Walkthrough" forms.

Called First student to arrange for buses for Junior Achievement field trip.

Make Oasis Volunteer spreadsheet.

Met with 2 teachers regarding reading walkthrough.

ordered label maker, laptop and labels.

Met with ELA and Math coordinators to plan 10/10 New Teacher workshop

Started the day at WGHS.

Started the day at the district DLT committee.  We discussed:

  • Update on the collaborative

9/17 Science Facilitators

The facilitators met at WGHS room 324 from 8:30 - 3:30.  The agenda is located here.

We then clarified content at each grade level and updated the Teacher Resource Center.

The team then clarified the MySci Pilot for each grade level and content area.  I emailed the schedule to the MySci team to finalize details.

9/16 ERS

Started the day meeting with Janel from Frienedy.

Headed over to Edgar Road to attend 3rd and 4th grade team meetings.

I then walked around the school saying good morning to classrooms.

Played some Math games with 1st grade.

Attended 1st grade team meeting.

Had lunch with students in the cafeteria.  I learned there that Dr. McGee sounds a lot like "Steve" so kids were calling me "steve."

Conversation with Channel One representative.

Until the end of the month, Channel one has a subscription for 7$ a student/year through the 30th of September.

Ordered Missouri Books for 5th grade teachers.

Tested out "MY MAPS" in google maps as a possible place for students to create projects learning about Missouri.  Here's what I tried out: https://goo.gl/maps/XX2jQ
