Scheduled Coordinator days in buildings

Picked up Chicken Eggs and delivered to Hudson and Computer School.

Met with ELA coordinator.

3/26 Arcade, WGHS

Started the day with 8th Grade science and Hudson Elementary.  Students loaded up their electricity projects and brought them over to Hudson Elementary.  Images below:









Headed over to WGHS to:
  • Meet with 2nd year planning team to plan after school meeting.
  • prep for 2nd year meeting after school tomorrow
  • respond to emails.
  • finalize budget emails.

3/25 Avery Arcade, WGHS

Started the morning with Hixson Middle School and the students at the Hixson Arcade.  We packed up the games and headed over to Avery.











Headed back to the office to:

  1. Work through email (100+)
  2. set up 2nd year teacher meeting(s)
  3. finalized 2nd year teacher location
  4. set up meetings for the week.

Met with Discovery Education and Assistant Supt to discuss Techbook.

Alternatives for Timeliner and Inpiration

Resources for creating a Timeline


  1. Read Write Think has a great free tool: http://www.readwritethink.org/files/resources/interactives/timeline_2/
  2. Tiki Toki: Pretty advanced, but really beautiful: http://www.tiki-toki.com/
  3. One of my personal favorites: Time Toast: http://www.timetoast.com/
  4. Capzles- Quite simply one of the nicest timeline creation sites around, with a beautiful user interface as well as the ability to embed into a site.
  5. Time Rime - An excellent site with educational instance (great for teachers) that allows users to create multimedia timelines.
  6. TimeGlider - Great site that not only lets users create multimedia timelines butlegends as well. There is a "plus upgrade" in the works specificallyfor education.
  7. Dipity - Create beautiful timelines with the ability to add video/pictures.
  8. Preceden - A fun easy site to use to create interactive timelines.
  9. Timelinr - A very simple to use timeline generator that only displays text.

  11. Softschools has a really simple too, great for primary grades!
